I coated this plain chipboard piece with texture paste and let it dry

 

Next I sprayed it with a couple of different colours of mist ink and dabbed on some distress stain in metallic colours. The colours you choose determine the colour of the piece so you can do this to match in with your photos. When it was all dry I inserted some eyelets and adhere some metal pieces and cogs using Dinemsional Magic. 

This border piece from Memory Maze Designs can be used as one whole piece or cut up to make corner or smaller sections.

Here are a couple of photo tutorials to show you how the mini book and frame from the previous post were made.

Join two pieces of card together so the base of the mini book is 19inches x 6 inches.

Cut 2 inner pices 12inches x 6 inches.Score at 3, 8 1/2 & 9inches on both pieces.

The kaisercraft frame was painted with black gesso and when dry was dabbed with gold ink.
